The Impact of the Dear Jack Foundation
- Young cancer patients and survivors DJF serves - 18-39 year olds
- There are 89,500 new cases of adolescent and young adult cancer each year.
- 75% of young adult survivors report the need for a support group or opportunity to connect with others.
- It is 7x more likely a 15-39 year old will be diagnosed with a rare or aggressive cancer compared to someone under the age of 15.
Through our programs, Dear Jack addresses the physical and emotional needs of young adult cancer patients, survivors and their families by helping create memories, alleviate burdens, and help the young adult cancer patient community focus on what matters - healing. 2000+ young adult cancer patients, survivors, and their families have been served and 1,500+ wishes have been granted since 2016.

Your Impact
Every dollar you donate* provides an opportunity to create hope, guidance, and community for the 89,500 young adults diagnosed with cancer annually and the 600,000 young adult cancer survivors. Additional funds would help Dear Jack increase its program size as the need far exceeds the current capacity.
